Bible:
1. Keys for Kids - daily verse and key ONLY.
2. The Children's Bible
We've often started with this book, but never gone from the beginning right through to the very end. Now that the boys are older I want them to complete the book as a whole project. It will be a nice easy read for them.
English:
1. Rod & Staff English
2. Primary Writing
3. Practice Your English Skills
Rod & Staff on Mondays and Thursdays.
Primary Writing on Wednesdays.
Practice Your English Skills on Tuesdays and Fridays.
Maths:
1. Signpost
2. MEP
3. Primary Maths
Signpost daily.
MEP daily.
Primary Maths 4 times a week.
History
1. Life BC - Greece
2. History Pockets - Greece
Life BC on Mondays and Fridays.
History Pockets on Wednesdays.
Science:
1. Christian Light Education - Module: Weather
I know that it looks like I've totally over programmed them, but I don't think I have. I can always pare back if it turns out to be too much. They are quite older boys; 13 and 12 and quite frankly, I'm tired of them finishing school in less than 2 hours each day. I want them to spend at least 4 hours a day, if I can.
Reading:
Rod & Staff Nurture Readers
Extra reading for the topics:
1. Greece
2. Weather
Daily reading from a variety of books - book log.
Technology: Lego, computers.
Art / Craft: Drawing and Painting
Latin: Caleb
Phonics: Daniel

Is there any reason why you use three different maths curriculum's? We use the signpost maths and I love it.
Hi Therese,
Just for fun, to fill in any gaps that they might have, and to increase knowledge. :) They would have to be my top 3 reasons.
I also use 3 different main English texts too. :0)
I figure the more diverse - the better and broader outcome at the other end.
Great idea.
We are using two math curriculum's right now, Ray's and Shiller. But, will add MEP next month. We like using the two and after finding MEP, we are looking forward to the fun of three. Thanks for posting your term 3. I love looking at what others are doing and using.
We always enjoy Keys for Kids. I have *a lot* on my list for my kids this year, too. It looks overwhelming, but I know we won't be using it all every day and, like you, we may not be using it all all year. We'll see how it goes.
Thanks for joining in the Wrap-Up this week!
You have only overprogrammed them if they have stopped learning or stopped enjoying it.
