This is how I store all the children's towels at my house. They are kept on a lower bookshelf for easy access. I rotate them through as they use them. I also keep a packet of tissues handy there as well.

We keep some in the bathroom and most in our storeroom. They are also on a low shelf for the children to reach. The ones that. Are kept in our bathroom are mainly for drying hands rather than after showers/baths.
