Art - Kangaroos

It's been a little while since we did a simple draw and paint so yesterday we did just that.

I think mine looked more like a rabbit than a kangaroo.  I tried to show the girls how to use short strokes to make it look like fur. We did have a couple of tears from Chloe - she's at the age where perfection reigns in the Art department.  Once she was over the drawing she cheered up with the paints.   Paint makes the world a better place.  The other girls enjoyed their paint time quite a lot.
