Reading in December

What are you reading this December?

Amongst other things I have recently begun to read this to the girlies - who oddly enough are thoroughly enjoying it~!!  So I shall be continuing while I have their interest and encouragement.

It's quite a book, and I imagine it may actually take us more than the month to wade through it.

I am joining up with Tammy over at 123teachwithme for her Book of the Month linky party.

I do hope that you will join us~!!

Thanks for visiting.

  1. Er, what ages are your girls? That is a rather mature book.

  2. My goodness! I would not be reading that to Jemimah! Have you read it? I highly recommend you do so before reading it to your girls!

  4. Ok, WHAT is in it that I shouldn't read? So far we are up to where the children have arrived at Foxworth Hall and grandmother has just brought the children breakfast in the morning.

Wondering if the book has rude bits in it or something?

  10. I'm glad you all spoke up, I read this in high school before I was saved, and I still wish I wouldn't have. You can't erase those things from your mind. Yes, Ruby, the Grandma's Attic series are wonderful!

I was encouraged by your prompt reaction to the kind thoughts from the older sisters. It was a great Titus 2 testimony displayed here! Blessings to you all!
