B is for Bee Alphabet Craft

Today Noah did another alphabet craft for the letter Bb.

And now we are off to snuggle up on the lounge for a "story".  Apparently, since he said earlier that, "He loves stories."

New Products in Store.... Surprise unveiling of a New Product Line

Do I tell you about the 'Australian Horse Coin Currency' or 'Horse Telling Time' Activity Centers first or the new Science Pockets instead??

I've been super busy... when the inspiration and motivation kick in you should jump to as quick as possible before it's gone again.  Life is so busy here at my house.  There is always something to do, some little distraction, and lots of work as a mum.  And sometimes we just need to enjoy the precious little babies we have in the quiet.  This week though, the inspiration has had me very busy.

Yes, so, I made a Horse { Australian } Coin Currency activity center set.  It has 135 cards to date.  That's 9 different sets in there.  Each set has 15 cards and a recording worksheet.

Then I also made a bunch of Horse Telling Time activity centers as well.  It has 6 activity centers in it, and a couple of recording worksheets too. I am hoping to add a couple more to the pack at a later date to complete it.

But my most exciting new addition is the introduction to my new product line:  Science Pockets.

The first pocket that I did was take my Salmon Lapbook and shrink-a-dink it down to a pocket.  Essentially it came down to a pocket with a couple of mini books, illustrated visuals, pocket title and a life cycle flip book.

So now it will only take a couple of lessons to complete the theme instead of about 12 { that's how many lessons I have in the lapbooks }.  And it'll look great when you put all your pockets together as a Big Collection of Pocket Books.  { but I digress }

And then I did a Bee Pocket.  Yes, it comes with photos to show you how to set it all up.  Now imagine the beauty of it completed.

Super cute, hey?

Recognizing Numerals

Here's a little numeral matching activity.

Perfect for your preschoolers.

I'll be giving it to Noah until it's mastered.  If he gets bored I could always change the theme, but yes, let's start with this one!

It's basically a game board and matching numerals on a Bee theme. {I needed to pick a theme, and since I had the clipart, I chose those.}

Just click on any picture to download.

Just print....

and cut out and play.....

Thanks for dropping by.

Animal Comprehension Test Time Bundle

I'm doing something that I don't normally do.  I am going to make a BUNDLE.  Yep, I'm going to bundle up all my little animal comprehension / test times together and make a bundle with them.  I do sell them individually, and I also put them in their corresponding lapbooks.  However, what to do if someone just wants a nice collection of mini stand alone animal comprehension worksheets?

Drum roll.......

An Animal comprehension test time BUNDLE.

Animal Test Time Comprehension BUNDLE

I am starting it off with 4 animals and will continue to grow it as I add more.

Each page is a stand alone and the questions relate to the mini passage at the top of each page.

I'm really enjoying adding all these cool new things.

A Bee Lapbook

This week we'll be taking it easy with 2 lapbooks
{ Bee / Electricity } - it was either do that or lose an entire week to nothingness.  So I chose the former.

At any rate I decided to put my own Bee lapbook together.
{ I bought the Electricity one }

So here's how I went:

{ A cover...  }

Vocabulary words - in matchbook formats.  This time I thought to add cut and paste vocabulary with it as well.

The compare and contrast trifold on the far right flap.

Tri-fold opened up.

A reading passage on Bees. I must admit, I learnt all sorts of interesting things while researching for this project.

A junior cloze.  I did make a secondary cloze for higher leveled learners, and that is in the file as well.

Pockets........ with booklet inserts.

Label the bee.  This time I put the words into little boxes so that they could also be cut and pasted if so desired.  Additionally, I also updated/corrected the words in the box in he file.

Life cycle of the bee.
Yep, cut and paste available for this one too.  :)

Writing project.  Copywork options available as well.  Additionally, I also provided a higher grade leveled writing paper option for older students.

Drawing project:  living in the hive.

The little booklets that go into the pockets.

A view of what it looks like when you first open it up.

When I turn the passage over.

Yeah, so that's one of the lapbooks we'll be doing this week.  This particular one is for the 5 year old.  The Miss 8, 10, and 12 year olds are going to put their own together.

At any rate, if you're interested in this download I have it in my store { discounted actually } for a bargain $2.

It won't stay that way forever
though - eventually I'll have to put it up to it's real price of $4.

Click HERE to go check it out in the store.

Thanks so much for visiting.
