Each month speeds by ever so quickly; and now we are in June~!!

Listening to...

Chloe { 8 } just happened to be in here when I started my currently.  Michelle { my oldest daughter } is still staying with us, so she was in here too - it was her phone ringing.  The baby is now 9 days old.

Loving...

That we are able to have 2 weeks off school at the drop of a hat.  In this case I was able to bring it forward for when Michelle had her baby.

Thinking...

I've done quite a bit of clothes washing today. I want it all caught up before my sister arrives tonight so that tomorrow we can just sit and chat for the most part and catch up.

In case you're wondering, this means that today we have 3 adults and 9 children in the house.  By the end of the day we will have another adult and 4 more children, since my sister is coming to visit with her 4 children.  Yep, that will make for a total of 17 living souls in the house for the next few days.  Imagine the meal times.  

Wanting...

Nothing.  Hubby made lunch today.  He made home made hamburgers { ground beef burger } with tomatoes and what-nots. Super yummy. Everything was so fresh, melt in the mouth delicious.  So I'm feeling pretty content right about now.  

It is also quiet time in the house - so all the children have now been sent off to have quiet time or a sleep.   

Needing...

Well, all my material needs are taken care of.   So all good there too.

Three vacation essentials...

1.  Good food.
2.  Good books.
3.  Good friends.

Every vacation time should have good food, good books, and good friends to share it all with.

May Currently

What.......It's a brand NEW month?~!!  Yep, it's MAY already.

1.  Little Miss 22 months is really taking off with her speech.  Now even though she's doing really well in the talking world I still hear a lot of those "mummmm's" coming out.

2.  You know, online shopping is awesome.  So comfy to order books from home without having to travel overseas.

3.  I have been seriously struggling recently.  I have a LOT to juggle and a LOT to do and I'm a bit wiped out.  

4.  Recently all my lessons have been totally crashed by constant interruptions all the way through and if I do get a lesson done without an interruption then I have a crazy thing or disaster waiting for me.  My last 4 gasp for air discoveries while I got a lesson done include:

a.  the little girl playing in the toilet with a cup { scooping toilet water and splashing are so much fun }
b.  the little girl stripping a made bed to pieces { nothing like having to do the same work twice }
c.  the little girl climbing up to the kitchen sink and playing in it.  { Sure I love changing her clothes just because she can't stay dry }
d.  the little girl climbing up over the stove top. { I think she may have been headed for the fruit bowl }

So, as you can see the little girl is giving me a run for my money while I get distracted with teaching.

5.  Sleep.  Sigh, what can I say?  It's almost chronic.  I wake up nearly every night somewhere between 2 and 4 am.

6.  My winter bucket list is short.  I have to keep it short to make it doable.  I figure that if I can get at least one ski in - it will be an awesome winter.  

Well, time to go and see what I've got waiting for me while I did this little post.

March Currently

It's been a little while since I joined in, but I'm up and running and early enough this time.  :o)

My latest love has been smarties.  Sugar and chocolate.  Me and the little girl have been having a generous time sharing them.

{3}  Hate

I have a lot of hates, yep.  I see so much stuff that I truly HATE on FB.  I know a lot of people think that they are doing a service in sharing that type of information, I've even been guilty of it myself in the past, but I don't like some of the things that I see that come to my attention.  I try to filter the things that I pass along these days.  There are just some things so bad in this world that you cannot help but HATE it.

Psssst.  I know I improvised, but I didn't read the small print until it was too late.

But because I'm a good sport here are my 3 items starting with the same letter of my name:

1.  Paper - yep, one can NEVER have too much paper.  All sorts of paper; plain, printed, patterned, lined.  Bound, loose, individual. 

 

2.  Printables / Cute ideas - I am always so inspired and overwhelmed with what I find in bloggy land and Pinterest.   I constantly see items that I need to print out and try.

3.  Pens / Pencils / Erasers - Ok, I admit it, I'm not only a paper junkie but I got addictions to pencils too.  I added the erasers in there too because for some reason my children like to vandalise them, and / or lose them.  No respect for the humble eraser in my family.  Sigh.....
