Alphabet Game Boards
I'm just dropping in super quick before the house chaotically runs off the ends of the world. Me and Daniel have all 6 little children today. By ourselves. Yep.
And I know I have at least 3 loads of washing. Oh, That's nothing~!! But did I tell you it's a 9.5kg washer?
But I am super smart - I already have the crockpot cooking lunch.
But maybe I am dumb - I gave 5/6 children Fruit Loops for breakfast.
True story.
At least it is looking like it is going to be a sunny day~!! Can anyone say, "play outside, jump on the trampoline, and look for ants"?
But if you can't go outside and play, and you HAVE to be inside maybe you can play these two alphabet games.
I make them up in a file folder.
Don't forget to check TpT for the game boards for A and B while you are there too.

More Mini Fold Ups
Seriously - this week was bad. All of us at one point was down and out with a super bug of the flu of sorts. The 4th round in the house this winter. All the children ended up on antibiotics. We quit daycare ( permanently ) for the 2 grandbabies.
The good news is that we gave Letrell a hair cut. We also took both grandbabies off bottles and started using cups. Working awesome~!! I am so happy about that. Amazing. This means no more middle of the night feeds, which in turn is causing them to sleep better during the nights. Their behaviour is also improved as well, but we totally cut all the lollies and junk. Another bonus. Yay~!! And lastly - little Kadafi who really doesn't like to eat - EATS. We sit him with the other children eating and he just joins in. So happy about all the progress. Finally, after 6 months of not going anywhere with it all.
But, I know coming here isn't all about me just talking family stuff with you,
it's about school stuff, so here are a couple of freebies for fun. :o)

One of the reasons that I am keeping this blog is to have a place where I can keep samples of the school work that we've tried and done. That way if I ever want to revisit an idea/worksheet I'll have this as a place to go back and find things.
This particular worksheet was done by Phebe. It is in fact done incorrectly. But she still got the basic idea of matching the picture to the sentence. So that's something. :o)

This next page was done by Hannah. I thought she did pretty good.
Ref: Draw a Line
I've also been showing Hannah capital letters. Look she even had a go at tracing/writing one.

Thanks for visiting. :o)

Wow, what a week~!! Miss 3 got totally into the school thing this week. She's been busy watching her older sisters do their school work. So now when I give her worksheets she thinks she's all grown up, just like them. Hanna loves inclusion. Doing big school makes her feel like she's one of the team.
Our main focus was on the letter / d /.
We started off with this worksheet.
Then we did a cut and paste of some pictures that start with / d /.
She even had a go at writing the letters~!!
I pulled out some alphabet cards and we played a couple of games with them. In this game she just had to match them up to the same letters.
I also pulled out some old number cards and we played with those as well.
As the week went on - so did the letter / d /.
More cut and paste.
A letter / d / craft: duck.
I was very surprised at her ability to trace the letter / d /, but she did, and it came out really good.
I also think her coloring skills are improving too.
And how could we get through the week without a story? Just for the letter / d /?
