Magnetic Alphabets

I decided to give these a try and see how they work:

I'm a little concerned that the coloring may make things somewhat problematic and, or difficult; but I have this idea that I can paint over them - to give them uniformity if there are any problems.

I am certainly getting all my little ducks in a row for Noah these days.

Montessori Movable Alphabet

I've been tossing to and fro as to whether or not to purchase a moveable alphabet....

in the mean while I figured that we could probably use this printable version instead, well, until I settle on whether we really need a wood version or not.

Feel free to pick up and use a copy too, just click the picture below to download a FREE copy.

Letter of the Week in 2017

This year I have committed myself to doing a FULL - Letter of the Week curriculum.  It won't be as complete as my original prototypes, but it will definitely have enough pages to last you a week with your preschooler / kindergartner.  If we keep it minimized we've got a much higher chance of it being completed.  :o)

Additionally, it will also include cursive options as well.

How cool is that?

Very cool.

Do you know what is cooler than that?

Getting the Letter { Aa } - today.

Yep.

Just right click to download the file cover below.

Inside you'll find letter tracing pages, a game board, cut and paste, sorting, craft pages, an interactive notebook page, flash cards, and hat pieces.

But that is not all.  I'm also going to share a secondary file with jigsaws, bracelets, and a memory verse as well.

Just click the below image to grab this file as well.

I do hope you will join us this year for our Letter of the Week program.

Scrappy Initial Letter Sounds

A few years ago I did an initial letter sound workbook filled with worksheets designed to focus on initial sounds for each letter but since then I've picked up some more great clipart and decided to revamp the original into an upgraded brand new work.

Apart from the new clipart all the way throughout, I also added in the additional task of writing the individual letters of each picture on the page, included more pictures to choose from, and popped in a picture key on each page as well.

So now we have:

What the worksheets look like:

Yeah, so I've popped it in the store for $3.00.
You can print them up a bajillion times for yourself/personal family/personal class, but if others want a pack, please send them on to purchase their own.

Just click on either picture to go and check them out a bit more.

Thanks so much for visiting,
catch you later chookies.

{ Week 33 } Plus Free Printables for the Letter Hh

Yep.

We are currently on week 33 for the school year.  I am hoping to get some catch up posts done of the older girls soon, since I have neglected them here on the blog of recent weeks.

But in the mean time, Charlotte does more preschool, ha ha ha.

This week I have a 19 page download for you.  { 17 pages of printables }

Just click on any of these pages to download the FREE workbook.

Practice writing the letter { h }.

I finally decided to ADD guided lines as well, for those who are ready to write as opposed to tracing.

The usual sorting between upper case and lower case.

I put 3 worksheets in there like the following.  Two in this format, and one in a reverse, where the child locates the correct letter to the picture.

A hat is also a must have.  Horses included in the file.  :o)

Then at the end of the file I also included a game board - this is the left hand side of the game.

There are a few other types of worksheets and resources in the pack as well.  I hope they are useful.

Thanks for visiting.

Randoms

This was my view from the lounge room to the dining room the other night after I'd called it a day and sat down to relax.

Little Noah is super cute.  A handful.  A lot of work.

  But super cute.

What the girls are reading this week for fun:

and

What Charlotte worked on this week:

She wanted dinosaurs this week, as opposed to mermaids last week.

and she tried this out too, mostly so we could use those dab makers.  ha ha.

Thanks for visiting,

A Tracing Alphabet { freebie }

I dunno about you, but if I sit here doing the alphabet one letter at a time, we might be here a while.

Soooo, this morning I figured that I'd give Charlotte a copy of the entire alphabet to see what she thought of them all together.  She can actually read a number of them now, which made it very easy for her to give it a go.

If you'd like a copy, just click to download.

Thanks for visiting.

Roll My Letters

One of the new products to my store recently was this:

A great little activity for your movers who need to move a little while doing their work.  Simply supply the child with a printable page from the pack and a single die.  They then roll the dice and whatever number comes up - they copy that letter.  They continue until the page is completed.

Interactive Flip Books for the Alphabet + { freebie }

For a long while there I thought that I might be finished with making alphabet resources, even though I still have Charlotte to come on up through.  However, the thought came to me that it would still be super nice to have an interactive flip book set for the alphabet - so I spent the day making them.  That was of course after I made one for the digraph - sh, but that is another story that I'll probably share somewhere down the line - along with it being a freebie.

Anyway, it was an awesome long day, and even though this pack looks simple it still took HOURS to put together.  By the end I thought a simple cover would suffice.

A sample of the flip books.

They are designed to be double sided.  Although they could easily be used with just the top page.

When completed just store it in a notebook while you build your remaining alphabet.

If you'd like a FREE copy to play with just click either example to go and pick them up.  If you do, could you please leave me some happy feedback.  That would be pretty cool if you could do that.

Also, if you're totally curious about the WHOLE book, you could also check that out too HERE.  I've priced them super SALE cheap at $2.50.

Thanks for visiting.
