trying to work out how to make my currently page bigger. So if you know how to help me out, Please, Please, Please, I'm begging, Please let me know. I'd like to stop crying now being disappointed that I am soooo late to the partay because I haven't worked out how to do this thing properly yet. Ummm, I don't think I have power point. I did this one in Paint.
Edited to add: I got it bigger, now to see if we can work out how to get the WHOLE thing in there width ways.

ReplyDeleteAs to your questions, yes, I have two blog posts about our bird studies. This Wednesday and last Wednesday's posts were both about it--this weeks mostly on the bird bingo game I made (which I could email to you if you like) and last weeks shows the notebooking nature study I got from CurrClick that we're using. The posts are called Look what we did Wednesday. If you can't find them from my blog page (the posts are all listed on the right hands side), let me know and I'll send you direct links.
As for my daughter and sewing. She is now 8 1/2, but started the homeschool sewing class at 7. She really loves it and has made some beautiful things. I think it is such an important skill to have.

ReplyDeleteI saved the original template into a folder. Then I opened it in Paint. In paint there is a little capital A up on the tool bar. I clicked on that - which allowed me to click on the template and produced a text box. Then I typed what I wanted and re-sized the box, and moved it around to fit. Then I clicked outside of the box and it was sealed. Then I did it again for the next space, and again until all the spots were filled in. Each part was done separately. Then at the end I saved the template with a new name. When the file was closed and I was looking at it from the menu I copied it and pasted it directly into word - to see if it would work. It showed up, so I copied and pasted it directly to my post. I didn't upload it like a photo ( that keeps it small ). By directly copying and pasting it keeps it bigger. Then I just did my normal post above and below it. Just like a normal post. I am thinking that perhaps I might be able to copy and past it directly from the file directory to the post itself in future - without word in between. Hope that helps. :o)

ReplyDeleteIf you upload it like a photo you can change the height and width in the HTML code as long as you keep the ratio the same.
EG if the height is 200 and width 100
you can up it say 50 %
you would make the height 300 and width 150.
Blogger will add in the height / width to the pic code when you select small or large size after you add the pic.
I often upload a pic select large and it fits the width set on my blog. If it doesn't I alter the width to 5 % less than my blog colum width and then adjust the height by ratio to my enlagement.
