Tools of the Trade

Today I want to share about how I cut down my pieces of paper, well the bigger sized ones anyway.

I use a guillotine.  She's not terribly fancy, but she certainly gets the job done.  I would also like mention that she's been one of my best friends for a number of years.  We have spent many happy hours cutting pieces of paper together, making many projects, and generally having a lot of fun.

She also teams up with Miss Laminator really well.

I have also noticed that apart from doing the usual school projects, that she really likes to make cards and scrapbook as well.  A very versatile friend to have.  If you ever need to cut paper on a regular basis, I highly recommend her family line.  I guess when you love cutting paper, you really love cutting paper.  So, it's always good to have someone who is an expert at what they do.  It simply makes the job so much easier and much more fun.

In addition, she's also very safety conscious too.  When not in use the handle has a stiff little lock down, and sits snug and tight so that the handle stays in place.  I keep her up and away from the children.  Just in case.  I know that it would break her little heart if a small child had their fingers cut off if she got careless.  She just couldn't handle the guilt.  Even though she is made of steel, she has a very soft heart.

So, do you have a friendly guillotine hanging out at your place?

What do you use it for?   Is it friendly like mine?

Thanks for visiting.

  4. Hi Stan, The Bible study blog part is what my husband wants to do. He has a lot of ideas about scripture that he wants to discuss, he just isn't sure what to start with first, or how he should go about it. It certainly would be a great way for him to get down in "paper" what he believes. :o)

Megan, They totally could be twins. :o)
